Looking for your recommendations regarding the best products available in the US to use for cleaning/conditioning/restoring vintage/weathered/et pole rattan (aka Palasan rattan) furniture.

Hello Leslie,
You can clean your pole rattan furniture with warm water mixed with a dab of detergent. Sand the surface with 220 grit sandpaper, clean the surface with a dry brush or clean dry towel. Spray a coat of a sealer such as this one by Minwax.
I recommend using spray here because of its simplicity, apply 2 coats second after the first one dries. Keep layers very thin, and even, working your way gradually around the whole piece and getting varnish into all the crevices. You can also use this one by Rust-Oleum, the same method of application applies to this too.
