Hi,
We are building an outdoor shed and are using cedar planks placed horizontally to cover it. I purchased a sealer to waterproof the wood but when I tested it on a board it significantly changed the beautiful cedar wood to a more yellow tone. Is there a sealer that would work for this project that would not turn the wood a yellow hue, leaving it as is but still protect the wood from sun and moisture?

Hi Lone,
This sealer by Rain Guard should work. It is completely transparent and has good UV protection so that it does not turn yellow over time. I’m not aware of any complaints from consumers about yellowing.
