Liquid oil for a white oak table with low sheen

I have a Crosby table from Rejuvenation. Care of it states to use liquid oil periodically and certainly if it feels dry. I have no idea what to use. The table is a white oak and not too shiny. I’m concerned about putting something on it that will change the color or make it too shiny. Thoughts?

Hi Tracie,

The three best choices for oak are Danish Oil, Boiled Linseed Oil, and Teak Oil. Given your preference for a matte finish, I’d go with one of the first two, as Teak Oil can apply a sheen to the surface.
