We have an old handmade cedar table that we’ve just sanded down to the raw wood. We would luke to put a finish on it that will not yellow and will have UV protection as it will be in a room that gets a good deal of sunlight. We initially thought about a polyacrylic but I understand that it doesn’t have UV protection. What would you recommend to use to refinish this dining table?

Hi Leslie. When I need UV protection in a clear finish, I always head to the marine products. Designed for harsh sunlit, and damp conditions, these products provide good UV protection when purchased from a reputable brand.
